When Apraham told Zdravka that he wanted to marry her, she told him he would have to leave Bulgaria (his automotive business and family), move to Adelaide and learn English – and we think it’s so romantic; that’s just what he did!

They had planned a garden ceremony overlooking the manicured gardens and picturesque Adelaide Hills, followed by a reception under the stars at Mount Lofty House. However, enveloping whiteness of thick fog and rain covered the grounds with their beauty, and the celebrations were moved indoors.

True to their style, the day was simply elegant and modern. Filled with love, joy, and dancing; shared with their closest local friends. Larger upcoming family celebrations in Bulgaria are planned.

GETTING READY

About to commit to spending the rest of their lives together, Zdravka and Apraham began that journey by getting ready side by side in the suite above the Coach House (where they had their reception).

PRE CEREMONY

With Zdravka not wanting to get her sheer, silk dress wet, they quickly headed to the Arthur Waterhouse Lounge to relax before the ceremony.

CEREMONY

Walking down the isle, holding hands, they didn’t stop smiling through-out the ceremony. The service was on video-chat with Apraham and Zdravka firstly talking to their parents.
Then, champagne was served as Zdravka and Apraham embraced their guests.

INTERLUDE

A quick walk under the veranda and poising for photos with friends on the way to the reception.

RECEPTION

A cocktail reception with a play-list of tunes selected by Apraham & Zdravka, featuring artists such as Usher, Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, Michael Jackson and Eric Clapton.
There was dancing, fine food with Apraham attentively feeding his wife, good company and lots of love.
The cake ceremony was entertaining as Zdravka cheekly smashed a small piece in Apraham’s face; he delicately fed her back, symbolizing their promise to forever provide for each-other.
Therese from Rawvolution Adelaide was gifted a ring to say thank you for making the cake. The surprise on her face and the joy on Apraham & Zdravka’s were priceless.
The evening continued with more dancing, hugs and big smiles.
