Shez & David | Veal Gardens

Shez and David were introduced by their mutual friend and groomsman. It’s a love story incorporating Shez’s two beautiful girls and they’re a tight-knit family.

Married under a beautiful tree, by a mini waterfall, with a gentle breeze softly blowing, it was perfect. There were so many parts of the day that incorporated family and friends (details below), making it an inclusive celebration with those they love the most.

We met Shez and David one evening at the Paradise Hotel, instantly connecting and our meeting turning into dinner. We got to know them a little more the hair and makeup trial and lessons, their engagement shoot, and were so excited by the time the wedding came around. Shez and David, thank you for inviting us into your lives and having us there to capture your special day. May God abundantly bless your marriage. With much love, Allen & Melissa xo

Anyone looking for photographers you must meet these guys. They are awesome and we had a lot of fun x

Shez and David both got ready at the Adina Apartment Hotel Adelaide Treasury (in separate rooms), with their parents and bridal party. Shez made the bouquets and careful attention was lovingly paid to every detail.

How special that David was gifted a toy train saying “Dad” from the girls, we love the socks and tie-pin too!

With the girls dancing down the isle, the ceremony was instantly a fun celebration of love. Shez’s parents walked her down the isle and then her daughters met her, to give her away.
David’s Dad and Shez’s eldest made speeches. Then, David and Shez gave the girls necklaces, saying “we do” with the girls too.
The throwing of rose petals, hugs with family. and group photos followed.

A stroll through the roses at the Veale Gardens, followed by a tram-ride and walk back to the Treasury for photos in the under-grown tunnels. David proposed to Shez at Christmas time (which is her favorite time of the year), so we naturally stopped at the Victoria Square Christmas Tree on the way.

The celebration and dancing theme continued with the bridal party dancing their way into the celebration. The evening was filled with fine food, beverages, some guests sharing the mic with the band (including the bride) and of course lots more dancing!
Shez and David ended concluded the reception with a sparkler exit, then strolled hand-in-hand through the gardens, back towards urban Adelaide.
