Bec & Ankush | Hotel Richmond

20 OCTOBER 2018, INDIAN WESTERN FUSION WEDDING

“Welcome to our happily ever after” … “When I saw you I fell in love, you smiled because you knew” – quotes from Bec and Ankush’s day.

These lovers are clearly great friends with Hailey as the center of their lives.  The dark wood floors and natural light streaming through the Private Balcony Room at the Hotel Richmond made for a gorgeous ceremony space, which later converted into a glamorous cocktail party. The balcony, tall tables and chairs, couches, and the dance-floor broke the room into multiple spaces to entertain Bec and Ankush’s closest family and friends.

We know planning their wedding had it’s hardships, with visas not getting approved and family funerals along the way, so it was beautiful to see the love and joy that filled the wedding celebrations.

Guests were delighted to see the couple change into traditional Indian wedding attire during the reception and the party continued with a delectable dessert table featuring Indian sweets and dancing into the evening.

Bec and Ankush, congratulations on the beginning of your happily ever after. Your hospitality, love, and generosity was very gracious and we were blessed to get to help on your wedding day. May your story be filled with great blessings and happiness, love Allen & Melissa xo

TESTIMONIAL

Allen and Melissa photographed our wedding and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else.
We are so in love with our photos and couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Allen and Melissa both went above and beyond what we expected.
We are so greatfull we were able to have them photograph are special day and capture the beautiful memories they have.

Thank you Studio Shubin ❤️

THE GIRLS

Bec and the girls got ready at the Hotel Richmond, enjoying each-others company, chocolates and subway while having their hair and makeup done. It was way too cute that flower girl Hayley carried a little doll with matching hairstyle and dress – love this idea!

THE BOYS

Ankush and the boys got ready at home, followed by a Hummer drive into the city and walk through Rundle Mall to the Hotel. Photos of Ankush’s family were worn in his jacket, holding them close to his heart.

CEREMONY

Ankush was so over-come with emotion that he could barley look at his beautiful bride and they both cried.
Hailey held the rings and photos of Ankush’s family sat on the signing table.
We love the joy on both their faces as they were announced husband and wife, then family photos were taken on the balcony.

INTERLUDE

A walk through Rundle Mall and Adelaide Uni was made extra special by Vogue Fashion Week and the “Malls Balls” decorated in balloons.

RECEPTION

Stories of Bec and Ankush’s love, who they were before they met each-other and how happy everyone is made the evening.
No words were needed as Ankush’s family were remembered, with tears and love filling the room. Then, laughter, as the boys spoke of the old party days in their apartment, and nods, re: how lucky Ankush is to have Bec.
Everyone hit the dance-floor and we’re told that after we left, there was another round of speeches, where everyone shared what they cherish about each-other …
and celebrations continued the next day with a BBQ at home.
