The beautiful thing about young love is the truth in our hearts that will last forever – Atticus.

Sam & Adina shared a common connection with their Romanian Pentecostal faith & heritage. They quickly knew they wanted to spend the rest of their loves together and Adina bravely moved from Romania to to be with her husband, learning english and starting anew in Australia.

With a service in spoken in Romanian, Adina & Sam’s marriage was blessed by their church community, and followed by a gorgeous reception.

We were fortunate enough to get to know Sam & Adina leading up to the wedding by sharing a meal and helping with a couple of small details. Through-out the process, it was evident to see how much they love each-other, their happiness, love for God, and that their family and friends are very important to them.

THE GIRLS

Adina had her hair and makeup done, then her Mother and friends helped her get dressed, making sure everything was perfect. Leading up to the wedding, Adina was unsure if her parents could get visas, so it was very special they were here.

It was really important to us that we were able to capture Adina’s natural beauty for her hair & makeup. She knows what she wants, doesn’t need a lot of makeup, and her beauty shines from within.

THE BOYS

Sam got ready at home with his best-friend by his side. Both Adina’s parents and Sam’s parents were there, then everyone left to pick up Adina.

FIRST LOOK

When Sam picked up his bride, it was see their delight and the delight of their family and friends during the first look. They gave each-other their corsage and bouquet, posing for photos before heading to Carisbrooke Park for more pre-ceremony photos.

CEREMONY

A Romanian Pentecostal service. Everyone was up-standing as Adina’s Mum and Sam’s Dad walked down the isle, followed by Sam with his Mum and Adina with her Dad. It was opened with prayer, then Adina & Sam held hands and enjoyed each-other’s company through live songs and sermons. Their love & faith shone, with both Sam and Adina shedding tears during the closing prayers.

The ceremony was beautiful, without a “first kiss” or giving and exchanging of rings (Adina & Sam were already legally married).

INTERLUDE

Sam and Adina had their formal photos at Veal Gardens, driving through KFC on the way. Since they didn’t have a bridal party, they enjoyed some exclusive time together, strolling through the parkland.

RECEPTION

The elegant and contemporary white reception room was adorned with natural, lush green and white foliage, perfectly enhancing the chandeliers and soft lighting.
Adina glammed up her makeup look with a red lip and the newlyweds were seated at their wedding table with their parents, first opening the reception with prayer.
We followed as Adina & Sam enjoyed their guest’s company, capturing the interactions and love from a distance.
Feature performances were made by a couple of their friends and instead of traditional formalities like speeches and dancing, the evening was spent with fine food and mingling.
