Jill and Pete met 10 years ago through mutual friends and are now best-friends themselves. In 2014, their adorable boy Logan was born and he is their world, as they are his.

We met Jill photographing Jess & Cam’s wedding in November 2017. Jill was a bridesmaid and we were thrilled when she contacted us, saying it’s her turn to get married! Then we found out we have some mutual friends, which made it even more special to share that connection.

Their day was a laid-back event with their immediate family. A Friday registry-office ceremony, they spent the evening with those who mean the most to them at Hotel Richmond. On Saturday, they announced that they were married and invited all their friends celebrate with them, in town for a few drinks.

THE BOYS

Jill, Pete, and Logan met for “first looks” in Chesser St, Adelaide. Logan’s grandparents watched on as Logan walked to his Dad, who instantly met him with a hug and smiles.

THE GIRLS

Jill & Pete met with a kiss and the little dance Logan did in excitement was absolutely adorable!

CEREMONY

Jill and Pete’s wedding ceremony at Chesser House was simply beautiful, especially with Logan running in for a family hug just after the first kiss. Family photos in the foyer followed (providing shelter from the cold winter day).

INTERLUDE

Jill & Pete lovingly strolled around the Adelaide-Himeji Garden, then had group photos in the adjacent Adelaide Parklands.

RECEPTION

A sophisticated, private dining space was sectioned in the First Lounge Bar and Restaurant at the glamorous Richmond Hotel. The 1920s Art Deco venue was perfect for Jill & Pete’s exclusive reception.
