Second Chances SA is a local charity organisation committed to restoring hope in the lives of prisoners, their families and their communities across South Australia.

Reaching the invisible victims of crime

Studio Shubin was blessed to partner with some of SA’s best and contribute to this this generous event where brides could find their DREAM DRESS (at any budget!) and help restore hope to broken lives – with profits supporting Second Chances SA.

Gowns were donated from various silent Adelaide bridal houses and Paula from Brides & Blooms had her sale gowns there, with a donation from each sale made to the charity.

There was a an auction, raffle, prizes, and participating guests included The Hon Rachel Sanderson MP member for Adelaide & Minister for Child Protection, and Paua Luethen MP – Member for KING. 

The fashion parade had a combination of new and experienced models. The experienced models were from Next Models Australia; Gabrielle from Luscious Lips Makeup Studio and Melissa from Studio Shubin helped get them ready.

Will Metzer and the Jazz it up Band ended the evening with smooth, silky covers.

We’re passionate about supporting our local community, so in addition to volunteering on the day, Studio Shubin also donated $1335 worth of services for the raffle with 3 x hair & makeup styling sessions and an engagement photography session, including images on a USB & prints.
