5 MAY 2018, TRADITIONAL WEDDING

Brad and Jessie met when they worked together at Port Adelaide Cash Converters. They have 3 beautiful boys and family was definitely a focus during their ceremony and reception.

Their wedding was quite sentimental with the ceremony in Port Adelaide, the bride arriving in true truck-style (completely fitting since she comes from a family of truck drivers), the way Jessie’s bouquet was made (story below), their Scottish heritage honored with a bagpipe player at the ceremony, hand-made centre-pieces at the reception, and candles by Jessie as bonbonnieres.

Brad & Jessie, may the joy you felt on your wedding day last a life-time. We value the friendship you have extended to us and how you included us as guests at your reception – thank you. We’re excited to catch up for family photos when the weather is warmer, Allen & Melissa xo

TESTIMONIAL

Allen & Melissa, we were blessed to have you both working in our wedding… you are both amazing people, you even welcomed us into your home. We cant thank you enough x

THE GIRLS

Jessie got ready at the Mawson Lakes Hotel and departed for her ceremony in the truck her Dad used to drive as Jessie grew up. This was made extra special by the fact that Jessie’s Dad is currently battling kidney disease and is no longer able to drive.

THE BOYS

Brad spent the morning relaxing with his boys; Jessie’s parents helping get the kids ready. You’ll see Brad holding 1 red rose he romantically gives Jessie as part of her bouquet.

CEREMONY

As Jessie walked down the isle, she collected white long-stem roses from people on both Brad’s and Jessie’s sides of the family. Then Brad gave her a red long-stem rose when she met him at the alter and the roses were tied together to signify two families bonding together as one.
Both Brad and Jessie cried, with their oldest son so very sweetly comforting his Dad by touching his back through-out the service.
